What does the gauge read with the key turned on and engine off? It should read 0.

That sounds like that same issue mine has. It reads about 4 PSI too low. so mine reads -4 with the key on and engine off, it should read 0. I called AEM to see how to fix it and they said they need me to check it with a multimeter which I have yet to do. Hopefully they can just tell me a calibration proceedure or something to fix it! Agreed with the E85... that's some corrosive stuff.

as for all the other problems everything should be good to go. one last think mike wanted me to log a cold start. but when the ign is on motors off. i hit data log. turn the key to start it and the logger shuts of, but then i hit it again and it will start again. so im unable to get a log for the cold start. what would cause this? i have the newest version of hondata

Hmmm, possibly a bad battery, your voltage may be dropping too low. Ideally to log a cold start you would turn on the ignition, plug in the FlashPro, and push datalog. Then step the key one step futher (the engine is cranking) and after start, release. Then push the datalog button again to stop logging.

Usually we see voltages of 9-11 volts while cranking. If your voltage drops too low, it may fail to provide a stable 5v output to the FlashPro, and thus the device could shut off and not be capable of logging the start up. I know I just had to replace my 2008 Battery, it was already shot.

could be, my temp gauge seems to go almost black when loading a new cal on sometimes so that might be the problem. but its a brand new optima, battery in the trunk. but i think i got it to log a cold start for mike yesterday.. ill just keep trying see what happens if it dont work again ill put the charger on the bat, or take it back to interstate bat. thanks steve
